The Rainbow Report – Supporting a Future of Inclusivity: Give Miami Day and Safe Schools South Florida 🌈

Circle your calendars! Give Miami Day approaches on November 16th. For over thirty years, Safe Schools South Florida has been a lighthouse in our LGBTQ community. On Give Miami Day, I ask you to please donate to Safe Schools to allow us to do more.

This last year, we’ve done more than ever to help LGBTQ youth. Our digital programming attracts new viewers at a record pace. We awarded five college scholarships to outstanding high school seniors. And we will soon launch our own in-person youth groups.

We dream bigger still. The launch of LGBTQ+ Leadership Academies and youth groups throughout South Florida, including underserved regions like Monroe County, is on the horizon. To achieve these dreams, we rely on your generosity—your belief in a world where every young person can lead with pride.

Last year, your support on Give Miami Day was pivotal. Today, as we face new challenges and continue to confront legislation that seeks to silence our community, our resolve is only strengthened. We’re committed to guiding our youth, supporting their parents, and arming our precious educators with the tools to build sanctuaries of acceptance and understanding.

We invite you to join us once again on this journey of transformation. Your donations on Give Miami Day—whether you choose to match last year’s gift or, if you can, to double it—will be the cornerstone of change. With your help, we can innovate, educate, and inspire.

On behalf of every life you touch with your kindness, we extend our deepest gratitude. Together, we’re not just dreaming of a more inclusive future—we’re building it.

Thank you for being the bedrock of hope and resilience.

With appreciation,

Scott Galvin
Executive Director
