Global Student Alliance/Gay Straight Alliance/ Gender & Sexual Alliance
GSA is a student-initiated and student-run club in a public, private, or charter school. GSA stands for Global Student Alliance, Gay Straight Alliance, or Gender & Sexual Alliance, depending on the school. The goal of GSA is to provide a safe, supportive environment for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning (LGBTQ) and straight ally youth to meet and discuss issues that are important to them, and to work to create a school environment free of discrimination, harassment, and intolerance.
