Hero’s Hangout is back this fall with brand-new adventures, creative vibes, and a whole lot of community. Hosted by Safe Schools South Florida, this free program gives youth and young adults ages 13–20 a safe and affirming space to be themselves, connect with friends, and celebrate everything that makes them unique.
This season, we’re taking over Friday nights at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Miami with themed events, games, music, food, and our brand-new Hero Points Program, where you can win big just by showing up and participating.
Come as you are. Leave feeling like the hero you were always meant to be.

Welcome to the new season of Hero’s Hangout. Here’s what ahead:
Fall 2025 Lineup
September 19 – Launch Party
Kick off the new season with games, music, pizza, and your first chance to collect Hero Points. Meet the crew and get your official Hero’s Hangout badge.
October 3 – Harvest Festival
Celebrate fall with cozy crafts, autumn treats, and wholesome vibes with your chosen family.
October 17 – Halloween Ball
Bring your fiercest costume for a spooky-chic dance party, costume contest, and seasonal snacks.
November 7 – Friendsgiving
Gather for a night of gratitude, laughter, community, and comfort food galore.
November 21 – Wicked Part 2 (Off-Site Event)
A magical off-site experience you won’t want to miss. More info coming soon.
December 12 – Christmas Wonderland (Off-Site Event)
Close out the season with a dazzling winter celebration to remember.
